Chengdu broke the deadlock in the 23rd minute, when Timo Letshcert volleyed home his first CSL goal after a headed pass from Zhou Dingyang in a corner kick.

Chinese international striker Wei, who joined Chengdu this season, opened his scoresheet in the 71st minute as Tang Miao's precise cross set up a free header for him in the goal area.

Seven minutes later, Andrigo unleashed a powerful volley to seal the home team's victory.

With three straight wins, Chengdu moves up to second place in the league table with 12 points, three points behind leader Shanghai Shenhua.

Second-half goals from Andrea Compagno, Albion Ademi and Shi Yan moved Tianjin Jinmen Tiger past newly-promoted Qingdao West Coast 3-1.

Elsewhere, Cangzhou Mighty Lions beat Changchun Yatai 2-0 at home, while Meizhou Hakka held Qingdao Hainiu to a goalless draw.
